Jacqui’s genuine concern for the well-being of every child shines through in the warm, nurturing and inclusive environment for the children in her care. Providing an invaluable service to the community her contribution to the school community extends beyond her role.
Some of the names I have heard used to describe Jacqui include an angel, a God-send, and as I call her, my child‘s second mother! She is loved and respected in equal measures by both past and present pupils.
My son has Dyslexia and Jacqui is brilliant at boosting his confidence. She makes every child feel valued and they look forward to seeing her… and getting big hugs .
As working parents, like many others, we find it hard to part with our most precious little people. Knowing that they are safe and loved and well looked after makes it much easier handing them over. Jacqui is like a second mother to them and to see them running up the stairs to her each morning with big smiles on their faces is priceless.
My sons birthday was last week and she sent me on a video of the kids singing happy birthday to him while celebrating with a little cake for him. She is such an asset to the families she comes into contact with and I feel she really does deserve to be recognised for this.
Jacqui is a true matriarch who selflessly gives her time, energy and patience to the children, epitomising the saying, ‘It takes a village to raise a child.’ Thank you Jacqui.
