Little Blue Hero and honorary Garda Michael Barry called on his friends in Blarney Gardai, Sergeant Mark Dempsey and Garda Sean O Dwyer, to help Lord Mayor Cllr Keiran McCarthy and Mrs and Mrs Claus turn on the Christmas lights in Blarney. Thanks were paid to Charles and Caroline, Blarney Castle Estate, Cllr Damian Boylan, Ian and Una and all at Blarney Castle Hotel, Ed and Deirdre Healy, Blarney Gardai, and the young children from Gaelscoil Mhuscraí and Scoil Chroi Iosa, their teachers and parents.
