Please help Blarney to reduce the throwing of cigarette butts around our lovely village. Blarney Tidy towns first non commercial bin was installed last month close to the bus stop, and is enjoying plenty of use by conscientious smokers. Thank you.
Our sincere thanks to our local County Council, Phillip Tett and the Gateway group, on the great work being carried out in the Inchancomáin Park. The riverbank has been cleared, paths are under construction and surrounding railings cleaned and painted. Looking forward to seeing it completed and being a feature for next years National Tidy Towns. Blarney Tidy Towns would like to thank you all for your help in keeping our village as clean as it is. Thank you to our volunteers, our Gateway and Solas workers, Cork County Council, Blarney Castle Estate, Blarney Men’s Shed, our local schools and everyone who has helped us in so many different ways.
