Cloghroe National School ends year on a high!

On the 10th June, pupils from Cloghroe National School ran in the Cork City Sports held in C.I.T. We had several individual and team winners on the day. Many thanks to our Parents Association who organised an ice-cream van to visit the school on June 9th. All pupils really enjoyed this lovely treat before the summer holidays! Pupils in Cloghroe N.S. enjoyed a diverse range of school tours in recent weeks. These tours included trips to Rumley’s Farm, the Mardyke, C.I.T, Cork Harbour and a local tour of Inniscarra. Pupils had great fun and were a credit to their parents and school during the tours. 6th class left their primary years behind them on Friday 19th June. Autograph books were signed, promises made, a few tears shed but all in all many happy, confident young people exited our gate to enter another. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed Active Schools Week in Cloghroe. Pupils participated in activity stations and developed new skills. We hope to earn our Active Schools Flag in the coming year.Icecream Day
