The winning streak continued with our Novice Debating team of Daniel Buckley, Denise Kelleher and Elaine O’Connell progressing to the next round of the competition. Club member Elaine O’Connell won Best Chairperson on the night. Well done to all. A number of members participated in Donoughmore’s Come Dine With Me which was held to raise money for St. Lachteens National School. During the month Donoughmore Macra members also collected clothes in aid of St. Lachteen’s school. Several members entered the Muskerry Round of Impromptu Public Speaking held in Copeen. Well done to everyone who took part, particularly club member Tom Carroll on winning, he now progresses to the next round. Also congratulations to our Public Speaking Team consisting of Meig Collins, Emily O’Donovan and Tom Carroll who advance to the next round of the competition. The same night saw the Muskerry Round of the Know Your Age Quiz being held where the club entered three teams and well done to everyone who took part.
