Blarney Post Office celebrated a year under new owners in May, with a day of food and fun and give aways, with local man Michael Supple winning the €250 one4all voucher. Thanks were paid to the local businesses who attended to support the Post office, showcasing their products, and to Dennis Irish Village Honey who came along with his beehive display, Mallow Road Motors for bringing along their all electric car, St. Johns Ambulance and Blarney Gardai for attending and An Post staff from the GPO who were on hand to help with post office services. A collection for St Johns Ambulance was taken on the day raising €200.
