White Horse Golf Society Captains Prize

Last Saturday The White Horse Golf Society’s Captain Finbarr Minihane held his Captains Prize in Thurles Golf Club. The golf was played in beautiful sunshine on a course that was in fantastic condition. The golf was made easier by refreshments kindly sponsored by Quish’s SuperValu The prize giving was held in The White Horse and Finbarr was joined by his wife Fenna and his sons to present the prizes The prize winners were as follows Overall Winner was David O’Connell with 36 points followed by Ger Keogh in second place with 34 points and Adrian Murphy in third place with 33 points. 4th Barney Hennessy 5th Ray Reidy 6th Tom Butler, 7thMichael O’Leary 8th Tony O’Callaghan, 9th Jim Crowley, 10th Pat Enright Kevin Minihane was Nearest to the Pin and Paddy Keane had the Longest Drive. David Keogh won the Front Nine and Martin Roche won the Back Nine. Ray Reidy won the 2’s Competition The Visitors Prize was won by Jonathon Greene. Well done to all the prize winners and congratulations to Finbarr on a fantastic Captain’s Prize.
