In 2003 Mr. Liam Walsh became principal of Berrings National School and over his 17 year tenure he has guided the school through huge changes, overseeing the vast expansion of the school building which now includes 12 classes. Liam’s infectious enthusiasm, together with a cheerful, good humoured and inclusive approach has motivated staff and wider community to ensure the school is at the forefront of best educational practice. All in Berrings National school and in the wider Berrings community wish Liam every blessing in the future and thank him most sincerely for his long years of dedicated service to our school. Ms Joan Marie Healy has been appointed to replace Mr. Walsh. We wish her the very best of luck in her new role as Principal of Berrings National School.
