Band stalwart Marcus Calvert said, “It felt wonderful to be back out and doing what the band enjoys doing most which is performing in our local community. It’s a big step and we were able to play while always practising social distancing and adhering to all HSE guidelines.“ The band which regularly performs in Blarney castle and at the Kinsale regatta during the summer months and also at the big festivals in Kerry including Puck Fair, The Rose of Tralee and Killarney’s July 4th Festival has been rehearsing outdoors on Mondays much to the delight of locals.
