Cork West U16 football development squad run for mental health

Grenagh GAA players Ted Twomey and Sean Joyce, and Inniscarra’s Brian Lowney are part of the Cork West U16 football development squad players fundraising effort for mental health charities Lisheens House and Jigsaw, the national youth mental health charity. The three players are part of a squad of 38 plus management who will be running 6.5km each, all be done within the 5km radius of their homes with strict social distancing, while soloing a football this Saturday, May 16th, to raise funds for the two charities. The collective distance will be the equivalent distance from Pairc Uí Chaoimh to Croke Park and the players represent 25 clubs across the four divisions of Beara, Carbery, Muskerry and Carrigdhoun that the Cork West squad can select from.
