In these strange times where we are learning that we need to rely on ourselves, it has never been more important to know how to perform CPR. Many of us also have our children at home at the moment, what better time than now to teach them, and refresh ourselves, about this important life skill. Currently hands only CPR is recommended as demonstrated in a very effective three minute video from the Irish Heart Foundation that can be easily found online.
We are lucky in Blarney to have many publicly accessible AED’s (defibrillators) and please take note of the list below and know where your nearest unit is. If you have a publically accessible AED you would like us to add to our list please message Blarney Community First Responders through their facebook page.
