It takes more than a pandemic to stop prolific fundraiser Ryan Mulroy, pictured here with his great buddy Shane! As Ryan told us, “With everything that is going on at the moment, I’ve decided to punish myself with an event to help fundraise for a non-government run charity, Down Syndrome Cork. This charity heavily relies on fundraising events throughout the year. Unfortunately none of these events have been able to take place due to Covid-19.” On Saturday 25th April starting at 7am Ryan undertook a180km cycle on a smart turbo using Zwift and a marathon (42.2km) run around Willison Park. We’re seem some incredible acts of goodness during this crisis, this being one, and as we went to print Ryan had raised over €11,000!
