The hotel fought off tough competition from some of Munster’s best-known wedding venues, in all 13 venues were shortlisted, with the Oriel House Hotel winning the public online vote. The recently refurbished bridal suite reflects the rich heritage of the 18th Century property, which is home to the Oriel House Hotel, where the team pride themselves on providing bespoke weddings from classic to contemporary. “It’s been a special year for the team here at the Oriel House Hotel,” said General Manager Janice McConnell, “Earlier this year, we were named Irish Hotel of the Year, Munster Hotel of the Year, 4* Hotel of the Year Regional Winner, and Deputy Manager of the Year at the Irish Hotel Awards. While in 2018 we were named Wedding Venue of the Year at the Remy Martin Cork Business Awards.
