Welcome home to Avril Kinnerk who recently moved home to Blarney, and is pictured captaining the Green Isle Camogie team in South East London this year. In addition to managing and training the team, Avril was also the Chairperson of the Camogie Board of Britain, a stalwart of Camogie in Britain! The team won the All Britain Junior League and made it to the All Britain Junior Championship Final. Most recently Avril captained the team in the World Games in Waterford, the team did well, coming 3rd in their group and only losing to the continents. A successful year for our club thanks in no small part to Avril.
