This month The Gab are bringing it all back home to Blarney for heritage week with a Gab Special on Saturday 24th August from 7pm – 9pm at the Old Blarney Post Office Cafe, Blarney. Be charmed with past times tales and pastime stories special for Heritage Week 2019. Bring a rug or cushion and join them for this special Gab Storytelling event in the beautiful garden of the Old Blarney Post Office Café. Active since 2016, The Gab is a community committed to the practice and preservation of the oral tradition of storytelling as well as the development of storytelling as a contemporary art. The monthly storytelling night, The Mixtape, is a blend of song, story and poetry where contemporary tales and traditional stories are celebrated. Don’t miss it!
