Sincere thanks were paid to everyone who took part or helped and contributed in any way at the annual Poc Fada held by 
and Camogie Clubs on St. Stephen’s Day 2018. It was once again a great success, in ideal weather conditions, with a record number of over 80 teams taking part. There was a large attendance in the Clubhouse Aras Tadg O’Muri for presentation of prizes, where light refreshments were also served by the hard-working ladies in the kitchen. The winning team was Shane Linehan (Capt.), Senan Brislane, Jack O’Sullivan; second were Jenny Burke, Bryan Linehan and Sean Twomey, whilst Tom O’Sullivan, Paul Farmer and Tomas O’Sullivan took third place. Last month a presentation of the proceeds were made at the Wayside Inn to recipients Marymount Hospice and the Jack O’Driscoll Fund.
