As we went to print, Waterloo Access Group reported that notices had been received by political representatives stating, “The Contractor for the above works has informed us that they will be on site before the end of January and will have the works complete in early February, thereby enabling Left In and Left Out movements at the N20 Waterloo Junction.” They went on to say, “Our campaign has always been to restore full access, and we would ask that you continue to raise this matter with your local politicians in the weeks and months ahead. Equally, if you feel strongly enough, you can email Cork County Council chief executive Tim Lucey on chiefexecutive@corkcoco.ie. The volunteers on the committee of Waterloo Access Group have worked tirelessly for over six months to get to this point. We realise that the fight to restore full access has to continue.”
