Are you a descendant of Daniel and Julia?

Canadian Patrick J. Mullin has, over this past summer, been researching his family in Ireland and this search has led him to County Cork and a confirmed marriage certificate from Cloyne Diocese, either St. Mary’s, Waterloo or St. Patrick’s, Whitechurch, of Daniel Mullane and Julia Desmond in March 1840. As Patrick told us, “Daniel Mullane was my great great grandfather. He and his bride Julia Desmond, emigrated to Canada sometime in the 1840s and are buried in the village of my father, in Chepstow, Ontario. “I would so much appreciate hearing from anyone who can truly establish a family link with either of them – and therefore me. I am truly amused by the name change – Mullane to Mullin. It would be an amazing and memorable life event to uncover this link – this history – and to return to Ireland to chat with ‘kin’ in the spring of 2019. That is my plan. “I thank you all in advance.” If you can help please email Patrick on ttpmullin@hotmail.com
