Blarney Cycling Club would like to thank Marie Crowley and the Crowley Family for allowing the club to host the Sportive in honour of Donal, the selected charities this year were 
. The rain failed to dampen spirits and all participants can be very proud of their achievements on a challenging day and route. Events like this do not just happen, it is the result of months of hard work from all club members and the generosity of people that ensure the smooth running of such events on the day. Blarney Cycling Club would like to thank, in no particular order, all the cyclists, who came from near and far, despite the poor forecast. the marshalls, ambulance crew, motorcyclists and lead drivers who gave their time to ensure the safety of everyone, SuperValu Tower who generously donated refreshments, Blarney Castle Hotel who permitted us to use their facilities for sign on and the after event meal, Kanturk’s finest photographer Jim Mc Sweeney was on hand to deliver some great action shots and the extremely talented Sean Rowe who travelled all the way from Wexford to take amazing pictures.
