This month Kloe Mulcahy, from our Student Council, will make her journalistic début reporting on current events in our school. Who better then one of our brightest scholars to give the community of Blarney an insight into school life – Is in ithe na putóige a bhíonn a tástáil.

The overall winner was Mark Coleman who is a past pupil of our school, Scoil Chroí Íosa. Mark is a great ambassador for Blarney GAA.
Speaking of sport, a pupil of 6th class, Jack Murray got a chance to play for Cork Soccer Team against Waterford. Although they lost, it is the taking part that counts! We would like to thank Mr. O Leary a teacher in Scoil Chroí Íosa for organising teams of four from 5th and 6th class to go to the Credit Union Quiz and for helping prepare them for each question.
We also want to thank our amazing lollipop-lady Jill whom keeps us kids safe as we cross the road each morning. Jill has been sick lately. We would like to wish Jill a very speedy recovery, we hope to see you soon!
