Áine-Máire Ní Fhaoláin has been appointed as the and will take over from Mr. Pat O’Connor who has been largely responsible for making the college one of the finest centres for education in Cork. Ms Ní Fhaoláin was a teacher in Coachford College from 1993 to 2015 when she moved to take up the post of Principal in Gaelcholáiste Charrarig Uí Leighin. The new Principal has big shoes to fill and will be expected to continue the great work that Pat O Connor carried out during his time at the College. One of the new Principal’s immediate challenges is progressing the construction of the new school which, when completed, will accommodate 800 pupils.
