Santa visits Vicarstown National School. We were delighted with a visit from Santa just before Christmas, we placed all of our last minute requests and wished Santa well, clearly he avoided the floods, “Good Man Santa!”
Vicarstown Bake Off. 3rd & 4th class took to the kitchen to produce the most stunning cakes. The object of the exercise was not to fill their bellies with yummy cakes but to observe Procedural Writing by following the recipe!

Christmas Concert. We were treated to an absolutely wonderful Christmas Concert this year. Our young thespians did the locality proud and kept us amused for two hours on December 17th in the Community Centre in Ballyanly. There was music and song and some fantastic dancing. Well done to all involved!
