First team chase top four spot. Muskerry currently sit in fifth spot in Division One of the Munster Junior league with three games to play. A top four spot would secure a place in the All Ireland Cup in 2015/2016. Muskerry must play two of the teams above them and their home game against Newcastlewest on 22 February will be critical and the team will be hoping for big home support on the day. U16s off to good start in pan Munster. For the second year in succession Muskerry have qualified for the elite pan Munster U16 competition. They are in a tough group including North Munster king-pins Bruff but they got off to a great start on 31st January beating Dolphin in their first pool game. The Blarney boys with strong Muskerry representation won their semi-final on 23rd Jan on a score line of 55-8 against a St Caimins side from Shannon who had no answer to the power of the SMGS pack and the speed of their back line.
